NEWS BRIEF: No seats for politics students
The first year Perspective on Politics class is over subscribed to the point of too many students and not enough places. By places, I mean seats. The Physics Emeleus Lecture Theatre holds enough seats for 6 less pupils that are attending the classes.

The module is compulsory for all Single Honours, Joint Honours or Minor Honours Politics students, as well as those taking the new PPE course and was an option for those doing Single Honours subjects. It has been a complaint amongst many of the students that they are too crowded and that the sitting like sardines will only heighten the risk off illnesses. The Module Convenor, Keith Breen, has said that the reason for this years increase in numbers is the cut backs made due to the recession. This means that students suffered from a lack of choice and will endure an uncomfortable semester due to ill planning.
