Strapped for cash this Christmas? The NUS Extra card could help you out
Described as the “definitive student discount card”, the NUS Extra card offers students substantial discounts on a whole range of everyday purchases, from Amazon to Superdrug to Ticketmaster. At a cost of just £10, this card has the potential to save you lots of cash on the high street and the internet, especially if you’re buying presents in the festive season. For an extra pound, you can also upgrade the card to incorporate the internationally recognised Student Identity Card (ISIC)- a real necessity for all student travel, and other European and worldwide discounts.
The card is sold in the Students’ Union ‘Chapter ONE’ bookshop. For any enquiries, ask at the foyer reception desk, or contact Andrew Gordon: a.gordon@qub.ac.uk
You can also find out more, or purchase the card online, through the NUS website: www.nus.org.uk
