It is believed that Alexandra Burke will be among the special guests at Chris Moyles’ karaoke show tonight in Mandela Hall.

The 2008 X Factor winner is expected to take part in the karaoke fun, which will run from 7:00- 9.30pm.

The karaoke gig will also give audience members the chance to warble through a tune with Chris and his team – Comedy Dave, Dom, Carrie, Aled and Rachel. Tomorrow, Chris and the team will broadcast the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show from BBCNI studios, where they will also play highlights from the event.

The Students’ Union are currently running a competition to win tickets to the show.

As part of the Radio programme’s ‘Aled turns you on’ feature, the producer appeared this morning in the Students’ Union to switch on the Christmas lights at the foyer reception.
