"Poor", "Attacks", "inappropriate"??
Very strongly worded!
I'm not sure we were reading the same newspaper.
Poor edition, very politically motivated story on the front page, I think the Gown has gone way too far this time, attacks students who want to run for election, makes inappropriate references to a female officer and attacks other officers for helping with a Queens club event; lest we forget that the moneys going to Queens students!
"Inappropriate references"?
I didn't notice any. Can you point these out for me 'REFRESHED'?
I think I'm missing something.
also, I really want fish and 'chips' now.
IMO the Hood/editorial had some interesting suggestions that I wasn't aware of before...
I think the alleged curbing of free speech is a justified 'chip'.
Very inappropriate references throughout and obviously some people have a wee bit of a chip of their shoulder

"makes inappropriate references to a female officer and attacks other officers for helping with a Queens club event"
What is the world coming to? It's mental. These things appeared in the tongue in cheek gossipy column 'The Hood'. Why would you take anything in that column seriously? Also, the references weren't even inappropriate. The Gown could have went ALOT further! I think those offended at that seriously need to look at themselves and develop thicker skins!
And COME ON! That UV Party was in my face everyday! I think it was funny that The Gown picked up on how well advertised it was!
"Poor edition, very politically motivated story on the front page" - So "poor" that Belfast Telegraph picked up on the front page story and I heard that the guardian want a piece of it.
I would have liked comment from Paul Lilly though on his lateness! :-)
