  1. Does she go to Queen’s? I do not think that all our Students’ Union cares about is the money we spend – I have had a lot of support, especially from VP Welfare Susan Kearney, VP Education Barry Duffy and VP Communications Gareth McGreevey. I think you all need to realise you fight with the union which takes time and energy away from work our students union should be doing for its students which obviously the university are very happy about because they are no longer the students’ target- its the SU…grow up gown

  2. @DIFFERENT,
‘Is she a Queen’s student!?’ Lol, this clearly has went over your head, hasn’t it?
    This is obviously a JOKE.

Read a newspaper once in a while ;)

  3. I like Kristin – she is such a busy girl – and she certainly gets around, I have seen her face before, I am sure.

I wish I had the time to join ‘The Gown’ but alas my studies are coming to an end this year. I hope that there is lots of interest by “Freshers” in becoming a ‘Gownie’ and to learn how to report on all the important issues. Top of my list: student finance! Find out what the real living cost are for students and try to find ex-students, who are trying to find work, how they cope with debt – and maybe start to get students active again – and protest against the student loans!!!!

    GOOD LUCK AND PROSPER

    Bibi ;-)

  4. O how one laughed at this article…the gown is dead and buried – please learn to cope with that. The editorial team really saw ita death through in triumphant style this year

  5. @ DIFFERENT

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I’m sure Gown will take the ‘Grow up’ advice from someone who isn’t media aware!

  6. I’m friends with quite a few Gownies and I’ve heard them say they’ve had more issues out this year than in any year before. With such strict deadlines and the paper out on the button every Monday fortnight, along with the fact that they’ve courted controversy all year….mmmh, seems like the Gown has had a magnificent year.

  7. Next year has a fantastic exec (minus one) we shall have to wait and see what will happens but it should be a better union than recent years
