NEWS: Injured man not a shooting victim

It has emerged that a man injured in the Holylands at around 9.00pm on Sunday night did not suffer a gunshot wound as first thought.

NEWS: NUS Awards honour QUBSU Equality & Diversity

QUBSU picked up the NUS Equality and Diversity Award for 2011 on Wednesday night. Over 500 attended the ceremony hosted by Leeds University Students’ Union.

NEWS: Queen’s Bookshop to close

After years providing fiction, drama, prose and textbooks to students and the wider community Queen’s Bookshop is set to close its doors on 31 August. Tim Smyth, manager of the bookshop simply said, “It’s the end.”
