NEWS: Docked wages go to Student Support

Just under £40,000 of docked wages of the staff who took part in the UCU strike in March will be put into the Student Support scheme, a discretionary fund available to students who get into financial difficulty during their time at Queen’s.

NEWS: Jack Wills bullies student fundraising organisation out of business‏

Jack Wills, outfitters to the gentry, has forcibly shut down a student run fund-raising organisation that had been hoping to raise £15-20,000 for The Prostate Cancer Charity.  Jack Willy had been trading since late January 2011 and had so far raised £1,250.
