Set in and around the Israeli conflict, the film, not unlike Samuel Maoz’s fantastic Lebanon, considers the human effects of the conflict over the conflict itself.

REVIEW: How I ended this summer

Beautiful landscapes, a bizarre soundtrack and a wry sense of humour, teamed with a limited cast and an intriguing what-would-you-do style narrative makes for one of the most original films in recent years. How I Ended This Summer is a recent Russian film from director Aleksei Popogrebsky set entirely on a barren island in the Arctic Ocean.

From 24-26th of June, Queen’s Students’ Union plays host to the largest gaming convention in Ireland. The event attracts gamers from all over the country; from the rural hamlets of Cork to the fantasy land of Hyrule à la Zelda. If there’s an internet connection, there’s a way.
