FEATURES: All I want for Christmas
What’s on your Christmas list this year? The latest experience in gaming entertainment á la Kinect, a Winter get-a-way break to somewhere hot and sunny, or is it yet another Mac-inspired updated gadget? When it comes to what we want for Christmas, we’re pretty spoiled for choice. Unfortunately gifts don’t just appear out of thin air, and this means we have to think a little bit more creatively when it comes down to Christmas shopping on a budget. NEWS: Queen’s Socialists to protest at Vice-Chancellor’s office
Queen’s Socialist Society intends to protest outside the Vice-Chancellor’s office next Tuesday afternoon in opposition to the Browne review. This comes at a time when its members have been increasingly critical of the Students’ Union’s tactics in its campaign against the Browne review, and argue that the SU should hold more large demonstrations similar to those held previously in the campaign. Announcing the protest for next Tuesday at 1.00pm, Queen’s Socialist Society Secretary, Tyler McNally said “You can’t just go out and go home.” BY CONNOR DALY
