REVIEW: The Pipettes – Earth Vs. The Pipettes
Wednesday, October 6th, 2010
The best femme-pop album of the year by far, The Pipettes’ latest album is catchy, upbeat and quite frankly the epitomy of all that is ‘girlie’. Although each track blends seamlessly into the next it is difficult to get overly enthusiastic about any of the tracks or to pin point any that could potentially be future chart toppers.

REVIEW: Rosie and the Goldbug
Thursday, May 6th, 2010
The short lived Rosie & The Goldbug were an act destined for great things and could have easily have found a prestigious place of honor alongside Marina and the Diamonds, Paloma Faith, Santogold and not forgetting Florence + The Machine. Their fantastic self titled debut album, their only album, Rosie & The Goldbug is, quite simply astounding.

REVIEW: Marina and the Diamonds – Family Jewels
Friday, March 5th, 2010
A debut single so fine and pure that a single listen to the opening track ‘Are you satisfied?’ will leave your heart completely enthralled with the ethereal beauty of Marina’s voice. The next fourteen tracks, some of which dedicated fans may recognize from earlier EP releases, are utterly astounding. It’s hard to believe that having emerged rather boldly at the close of last year that she hasn’t warranted any awards.

INTERVIEW: Actress Laura Donnelly
Tuesday, January 12th, 2010
Laura Donnelly, a Belfast born and bred starlet, has quickly become a name in that business called show. Only twenty-seven years of age, she has an impressive portfolio and a blossoming career, avoiding “the rut” which most young aspiring actors unfortunately fall into early on in their career. Her abundant talent has seen her conquer film, television and theatre roles, having portrayed Juliet in the open air in the London summer evenings. Of this Laura says, “It was an absolute fantasy come true.”
